Working from home sounds like a dream for many office workers, but it can be hard to stay focused with so many distractions in the house. Make technology work for you

With so much of our working lives spent on computers, it’s important that that your PC or laptop is up to the job. As well as the actual hardware, consider if it’s worth upgrading your internet connection and making sure your software is up to date. Simple tricks like syncing your computer calendar with your phone can help you keep on top of your schedule no matter where you are.

Other small things like backing up your work often, making sure you have anti-virus installed and that you regularly restart your computer to give it some rest and an opportunity to install updates are all important too.
